Jammy git!

Nice one How long were you waiting..? And how did you kill that time?

I had a three week lead time on mine and still got two of them to go! ...seems like months not weeks at the mo ;-)

What made you opt for the MY06 model? Just a new car (and I don't mean 'just' a new car!) or were there some changes that really attracted you?

Hi Dave

When I picked up my 55 Model they told me to take it into the power band a every time I drove it, obviously not red lining the thing but a gentle push

Will certainly go to meets!!
Decided to go for 2006 spec just beacause i wanted a brand new car! Touring option was good! Super touring better, !!! no other reason.
The seals on the roof are 100%. No water at all leaks in. They have added a little scoop to catch anything that comes in! works perfectly.
Probax seats, very comfy and supportive!.
Speakers are mounted on the top of the dash rather than facing forward, lot better sound.
engine and handing. Amazing!!!!!! Upgraded from a M100 to the elise. Difference is amazing!!! Still smiling!!
Pics to come, how do i upload?????

I thought only the USA versions come with airbacks or is it an option?
cheers

Ah thanks janitor, I remembered that airbag wheel from my Speedster turbo(VX220 turbo)
and saw them on the USA variants, but on most europeën only the nice standard steering wheels...but I don't need it, till I need it but in a Exige Cup with harnass I think you don't use them because your to tightup?

Yep, its twin air bags.
It also has those seatbelts that if you crash the seatbelt pulls you back into your seat. I think its because of all the safety in the states.
Didnt go for Traction control or aircon, would have really pushed up the price of the car but didn`t feel as though the car needed them anyway.

Anyone used the traction control system yet?
