Here is a link to 2 clips of my exhaust set up.

They were recorded from the passenger seat on my laptop. The quality is ok.

I think it sounds great. Its the sports cat because i wanted the torque through the rev range as opposed to all top end power. It feels like there is less of a dip before the 2nd cam on the unreliable well padded butt dyno. I also should point out, that i realised after i had recorded them all, that i had the air con on the whole time. (Before you hassle me its 29degC in the shade here.)

Apart from the 2nd cam it seems loudest on WOT at 3.5 to 4.5k rpm(very loud at this range when new). I have done approx 1000 miles since installing and the sound has improved.(less metallic tone and more nice pops on the overrun). On normal cruising no real drone or issues. As i live in NZ and there are only a handful of 111R's here i have only heard the stage II and i certainly prefered it to that. No offence intended to stage II owners just personal preference.
Enjoy

The changeover's not as prounounced as with the Stage 2 - does it feel more linear through the range?

Hi Kevin

Yes i think i does feel more linear esp. noticable on 4th gear overtaking. One of my first drives post fitting was at approx 5am(nice cold air) i nearly found myself unexpectedly up the ass of a truck i was going to overtake. That hole that was there between 5-6.2k is no longer an issue. ? if i've lost something below 3k, not sure. I had a standard 120bhp before the 111R and was always slightly disappointed with that band of the engines rev range, before 6.2k wasn't sure it was much of an upgrade. Now i know i have the real deal and i'm generally v. happy with it. I'll be back to the track in 2 wks and so it will be intresting to see if i get around any quicker than before the larini.

Hi Andy, thats a very nice set up you have choosen! love that sound, not to loud but loud anough.
Also very racy its just asking for more and higher in revs...hm, so that means also faster driving = how could I loose my license again in 60seconds
I liked the first sound clip the Larini 1st-4th getaway...
