Hi guys, I'm just looking for some advice with regards to suspension set up for my S1. I have koni fully adjustable suspension fitted, and i am wanting to lower the car slightly. What would be a recommended lowering height for every day road use, as my car rarely hits the track, also should the height of the rear suspension be higher to compensate for the larger rear wheel?
All advice much appreciated, thanks!

Al,

I'm guessing you have LSS (yellow konis?)

In which case, ride height is adjustable but nothing else.

I have the same and run mine at 120 / 110 (rear front) I think the S1 looks so much better at this height. I have no probs with speed bumps etc although steep multi-story car parks can cause me problems.

You are right to run the front lower (called rake I believe?) better aerodynamically.

Ultimately I intend to fit S2 stuff as my LSS is a tad clunky, but I will definitely be sticking with 120/110.

Is it worth getting the toe/camber checked after adjustment? Also did you fit the stering rack raiser plates? Many thanks!

if you stick to 110/120 or 115/125 it will be fine for daily use

Yes get a full geometry check after

and no - you wont need to fit the plates...you only really need them if you go down to 100mm...but then you would struggle on the road
