Alarm Help!!! wher do find my PIN number?

Hello All,

Hope someone's there on this rainy Sunday.

I have, with no effort at all messed up my alarm system while changing the battery.
I have the Cobra manual pdf thanks to markstevens in a previous post but I can't find my Alarm PIN number.

Any ideas where to find it. I have the "Cobra Alarm Instalation Certifiacte" but there is no obvious anwear there only the car "Vehicle Identification No", "cobra system" number which I presume is the model number and not the pin but not sure and an "Engineers Certificate Number".

Any help very much apreciated.

Hi Paul

When I got my car, I was given 2 sets of keys with alarm fobs, and in addition to that another key but just the metal bit, i.e. no plastic top of it - attached to that via a cable tie is a bit of card that says 'emergency key card' and it literally is just a piece of card which contains the instructions & PIN to reset the alarm.

Have you got anything like that tucked away? Short of that, I guess you'd need to contact a Lotus dealer for help.
