Doors full of water!!!

Hi guys,

Only done 1600 miles in my new 111R and wondering if you could help me out with this one...

Car was outside on Friday night in some torrential rain. When I opened the doors on Saturday morning i noticed about half a litre of water draining out of each door from a (purpose built?) drain hole in the bottom edge of the doors. Is this normal? the holes in the bottom of the doors are obviously there for something...

This is fairly normal. My S2 did this. Never caused a problem, although car was garaged and rarely left out inthe rain. This is why Lotus should never have bothered with electric windows and central locking. Recipe for problems and entirely unnecessary.
