Sorry if this has been covered here before - I know of at least one recent thread that discussed half of my question but...

Been thinking of Hid upgrade on 111R standard lights. Bogie went for Hid's all round - very nice for sure, but nice price too! Read some comments saying "get Hid for dipped lights only, as they make the biggest difference"

If Hid on dips was done, is there any real benefit to be gained from putting 'Super-bulbs' in Main and Driving Lights? If so, which is the 'super-bulb daddy'

Being in rural Devon, seeing well at night is rather more vital than desirable... any thoughts / recommendations?

Cheers!

not really - I tried Osram and Philips Vision + in my main and driving lights when I had HID dips only...they still look yellow and dont give out that much more light...I certainly wouldnt spend £50-70 on super bulbs again...save it for another set of HIDs

Fair point fella

I had to chuckle when I saw you said you'd fitted a full house of them! Now that's doing it and doing it properly! Quality!

The question that's on everyone's lips though is - do they give you a 'whiter' tan when you sit in front of them sipping Pimms for an hour or two..?
