Hope people dont mind me posting this here...

Im currently in the design stage of my new project....its a mid engined spaceframe chassis powered by a VAG 1.8T 20V longitudinal engine...

I decided years ago that I like the look of the elise...so this is one of the "looks" I want to capture with my bodywork...

So here is when I get down on my knees and start begging...

Does anyone have a set of used, abused, cracked and torn bodywork for the Elise that they would consider parting with? (a persuasive renumeration will be forthcomming)

If I could get a front and rear clam that would set me up nicley to begin the long process of measuring the bodywork up and inputting the shapes into my computer before I can make a foam model of my final body shape...

Can anyone help?

Can't help you I'm afraid but I'd suggest putting a post on Seloc. Some of the racers may have something that would help you out. You might want to dig out some pics of the (Ferrari) Din 246 to see a major influence in the design of the S1 Elise.
Finally the Audi 1.8T engine is one of the engines sometimes transplanted into the Elise!
Best of luck with your project.

Depending on where you are but a friend has an S1 clam in primer coat in Stoke-on-Trent that he might consider selling if you are interested.

Sinclaires in Romford have a mountain (probably 50 or 60 front and rear clams)of broken and damaged clams at their bodywork shop - Why not give them a go?

Good luck!
