Errrrr....exactly when do Lotus plan to update it with the new Elise SC, new trim levels, new colours and deleting the old (unavailable) stuff?

In this era of internet browsing, where 75% of potential buyers' opinions have been formed from net-based information (ie manufacturer site, dealer site, forums/review sites), why on earth are they so slow in getting the web stuff up to date?

The 08MY cars have been out a good 2-3 months now, so come on Lotus - get your finger out!!!

Have you seen the USA website? It's brilliant. Lotus should just get the guy that does that to do the UK one as well.

Have to agree with that.
They could also do with a configurator so you can 'build' your car and add options etc.
Site is pretty rubbish in general for pricing/general info frown

yes but have you seen the prices? elise r $46270 which is what, around £23500

then the options prices, metallic paint $590, lifestyle paint $1200, over here aren't these £1000 and £2000 respectively?

lotus pulling the uk customers pants down again then.

also they get a 3 year warranty over there too!

i do like the type 72 D though

The really rubbish thing is the web shop. Totally pants. If you do a factory tour and see the actual shop on site, there are loads of really great pressies / shitrs etc etc. The web store has a load of crap and about 20% of the range.

Pull your thumb out your arse, talk to someone like Juicy an get it sorted.

I think it's pretty much the same for any cars in a USA/UK price comparison. Generally speaking they pay about 60% of what we do over here.

That video is superb, it has that intensity and foreboding of an episode of battlestar galactica.

According to Lotus a newly designed web site with car configurator was going to be up and running before the end of last year.

I agree. People do pretty much everything on the internet these days. It's pretty feeble that Lotus are selling a car which is not even on there. What about videos, testimonials, owner section etc.? There aren't even that many good photos
