Hi,

I have removed the 3 bolts under the wheel arch holding the headlight cover to the body as per the manual as I need to change a light.

However, I am having trouble removing the cover as it seems stuck near the top. Do I need to do a special bit of wriggling, be more aggressive in my tugging action or be more sensitive and try to ease it out.

I've tried pushing the 3 threaded pins from underneath as well without much success so require expert advice before I crack and use something inappropriate to jimmy it off.

Many thanks,
Carl

If you've got the arch liner off and undone the three bolts/ hex heads then it should slide forwards and then up without a problem. If its being held in at the top then it sounds like something has got stuck. Is it just the rubber holding it back or something more mechanical?

Tony,

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately I undid the three standard bolts redcard instead of the 3 Hex bolts. This turned a simple 5 minute task into 3 hours of cursing, scraped fingers and hyperthermia!!!

Luckily no damage done to the car. Thats the first and last time I read a manual!!!

Thanks again,

Carl
