OK, I'm bringing shame upon myself here...

What's the longest you've gone without washing your P & J??

I have to confess that so far it's been 2 months and 11 days yikes

I'm very sorry to all detail freaks, there is no excuse!

About 3 weeks I guess.

The recent weather has forced my hand so it has been very regular recently

I can top that. Last time mine saw soapy suds was the first weekend of November !!!! Mind you the car has been with the dealer getting new clams and a full re-spray since the start of the year so will look like new when I get it back and they will have washed it for me lol..... how lazy is that !!

I find having a respray about once every 12months removes the need to wash it ever

I only wash cars to prevent rust - cars are for driving, not for looking at or posing in. Since the Elise wont rust, it doesn't get washed until I can't see out of the windows any more. smile

Four weeks when on holiday in the States last autumn.

One of the first things I did on return was to wash the Elise. Poor thing lives outside and had lots of rotting leaves stuck on the rear clam and engine cover frown

I have a real problem keeping my car looking half decent in the winter as the only roads immedietly around me are one track lanes - very muddy. Tend to be very lazy with washing her as a result.

Is it just me, but I hate cleaning around the diffuser/rear grilles/exhaust area - I find it really difficult to get the dirt from out of the joins where the various plates butt up?

It hasn't been washed since October (except the plates), when it got the full works on it. It does live under a cover though.

I've not washed mine since September frown I have the same problem as Tipper - hard to get the motivation to clean it when it's dirty again within 1 mile from the house.

Horrray, due to the beautiful weather today, I have righted the wrong! I am no longer filled with shame whilst driving the car!! He looks stunning now, and I got to use my new wheel cleaner and brush which made turning brown wheels back to silver a complete sinch!
To celebrate we went out for a nice drive (roof off of course) and treated him to a spot of Zig Zag hill!!

A great day all in all!
