Dont leave your wallet in your back pocket as it is very uncomfortable after a while especially when there is nothing in it to pad it out!!

Other than that i went for my longest ever Lotus drive today and had a cracking journey to Leeds and back. 180 mile round trip, ok ok i know some of you have skidded further but one small step for man kind and all that.......

I've had a clock reading of 160mph on a Track in my first R, I think it's around 150mph

I "tested" mine earlier but obviously still had a little more in it than i thought. Dont you just love a clear blue sky and an empty motorway where you know there is nowhere for the boys in blue to eat their donuts??

Lotus say 150mph (although I'm told you'll not get to it in 6th, as it won't pull enough), but I'd expect that to be down hill, tail wind, with a sail out the soft top.

Have half cleaned mine today, was filthy beyond belief. Started getting too damp to wax it. Another coat of JetSEAL and two of wax for tomorrow.

I had a good 5 hours in the Elise on Saturday. Went over to Buxton via the Cat + Fiddle, the car was brilliant and coupled with the weather it was an all round top day out.

Taking the R to a meeting Cambridge later this week so that will be a nice 300+ mile trip there and back, I am sure it will be a pleasurable day out

I'll be doing Plymouth - Bedford (about 275 miles) on Friday.
Then on Saturday I'll be on track all day followed by 275 miles back to Plymouth afterwards. Great fun!

Yup I had 160mph on the clock with the roof off (That was insteresting) but as Boggy says it was probably nearer 150mph.
