The Honda'd car is going today, and I'm going to have a think about what to replace it with over the next month or so. A 135R is on the 'maybe' list. It's a fabulous car, enjoy it! thumbup

I was led to believe that the hooonda was the fastest and best thing ever to grace wheels? Was I wrong?

It's a common realisation, seen many times, that absolute power corrupts, absolutely. Expect an announcement from Shangers in 6 months biggrin

Hello boys (or should that be "sailors"?)

Yep, it's gone. Time for a change - it wasn't being used enough, and a few very excellent changes in my life (largely due to Ms S Works) have meant that I'm rethinking a few things (where we live, what car[s] we 'need' etc). So EB3's off to be used more regularly by someone (who can drive it properly hehe) who many who've done LoT days will know - Malcolm the instructor.

Been a great 18 months or so of ownership, not sure what'll be next to be honest, loads of options under consideration but in no rush to make a decision.

Will still hang around if that's OK with all, and Tipper (and maybe Janitor) I hope to see you in a few weeks. Will u2u you next week for a catch up and hopefully get a time in the diary for a coffee.

Cheers! thumbup

Back to a K-Series for you then Tim? Good on ya sunshine.... you'll get JUST as much enjoyment out of a K than you did the Honda. Personally I reckon the ONLY choice for you is an S160... I remember when you had El Beast 1, and that was crashed and you were devastated. I remember when El Beast II came along you were COMPLETELY smitten. I've never heard you talk so fondly of El Beast III as you did of EBII... that was a car you were smitten with, completely head-over-heels in love with, and I reckon you'd be daft to go elsewhere.

Just my opinion as an outside-entity halfway around the world smile

Nah, it's fine. The car's going to someone who will get more out of it than I can right now, and personally I think that's great. These things need to be used, not mothballed. I hope it's new owner has as much fun as I did during my time with the car.

Frankly the events of the past few days make the sale of a bunch of plastic and metal pale into insignificance. If I really miss it that much, I'll get another.

You're very right George, but as above, no regrets. Not going to rush into making a decision yet.

Wow I need to meet this woman... sounds like she's had a big impact mate, for the good by the sounds of it. Nice to see EB getting passed to someone who'll certainly look after her.

Are you still working up in town? I've said to Swiss that I'll have to meet up for a coffee as I'm up there at least 1 day a week. Must catch up as looks like the LoT socials are a bit thin on the ground this year wink
