Elise rear wheel arch repair advice needed
Discussion
A Ford Ka turned in on me whilst coming to a junction and caused what seems like fairly superficial damage to the rear driver's side wheel arch. The culprit then scarpered, leaving me only a glimpse of the number plate. Police have been informed, but I don't hold out much hope of a favourable resolution.
So, as it looks like I am not going to be able to claim against her insurance I will have to get the work done myself (don't want to make a claim.) The damage appears limited to a few scratches, damage to the clear film that protects the wheelarch, and a 2 cm2 area of glass fibre that has chipped off, revealing the weave of the material.
Does anyone have any idea of costs for this/had experience of a similar repair, as I can't get it to a bodyshop for a week or so and would like to have some notion of the costs involved?
Thanks,
Jonathan
