Listen. Is that the sound of more money going down the drain?

I was wondering as CN have one for sale that is absolutely stunning but maybe a little pricey?

Buy a used one. Low mileage, one owner, boxes ticked... save thousands, lose nothing.

From the latest price list, I think the OTR price would be £37,000:

Exige S £34,550
OTR costs £950
Sport Pack £1,500

Total cost £37,000

And that's with no aircon, and with non-metallic paint.

If you want the Touring and Performance Packs too, that's another £5000. Metallics start from £550 and the Forged Alloys are £1000. It soon adds up...

I think the point is, buy a new one and risk losing c. £10,000 in the first year.

You lose so much money on cars anyone would think you had your head screwed on backwards. You've only just got in to that lovely new Elise! What's so wrong with it that you might wanna get out of it so soon dude?

<big sigh> Wish I had half the money you've lost in the last three changes, i'd be financially sorted for my new baby boy lol

If I sold it now it would be 32k without the Registration. Baring in mind I've just spent 2k on it in the last 4 month's on upgrades, someone's going to save 5k which is what I'm going to loose also it's still under warranty at Lotus 13 month's

If I'm not using it, I'm not keeping it. Mrs Boggys right I'm afraid, sits in the garage all week and sometimes doesn't even get used at weekends? If I'd have put more fault into this before I swapped from my R I might not have brought it. Fantastic faultless car but it's starting not to add up, not rushing this time thou going to take at least a year before I decide what I'm going to do. Might keep it might not.
