Fitted my ITG Maxogen induction kit today...and WOOOOAH!!

Have spent the best part of two hours fitting my ITG Maxogen induction kit today and can't tell you how delighted I am with it.Prior to fitting this wondrous bit of kit I had a K&N system fitted and I have to admit whilst it made a great sound it did'nt really do much else.I'm pretty sure that I actually lost power but the ITG system is something else and I would definatley recommend this to anyone who wants to upgrade a standard S2.The benifits are superb,for a start the first thing I noticed on a quick spin this afternoon was how quick the engine picked up,it was fantastic,and really smooth throttle response too.But the power was tremendous much,much better than the K&N system and ITG have informed me that the filter will be better for the engine to.Apparently ITG inform that you should see an inprovement in power of as much as 9bhp and it does feel like it.The system was relativley easy to fit although the instructions recommend removing the rear wheel and rear wheel arch,which sounded like too much hard work,I managed to fit it without doing this.The most difficult part was fitting the ITG mounting bracket to the existing Lotus air filter bracket,it's just so crammed in the back there.Anyway all the hard work was worth it and I just love the carbon fibre filter cover,it does look the business,and the sound is magic.

Good to hear you are enjoying the new induction kit
Very doubtful on the extra 9bhp though if you have only fitted this without any other exhaust mod's, cams etc. Yes it may be slightly more responsive especially in this cold weather but the sound does give you the impression that you have more grunt. Not so i'm affraid. Just enjoy anyway

Yes,that extra 9BHP is what ITG have said you get,I'm certainly not going to state on here that you actually get an extra 9BHP.I also have the Lotus Supersport(Magnex)exhaust fitted.

Well done for doing it yourself, they can be a right fiddly bd.

As for the power claims - well, take it all with a pinch of salt, and just enjoy the fact that the car sounds great, and you have a nice big lump of bling tat in the engine bay
