Quite excited as I've just ordered a set of Nitron Racing Reds to replace my aging S2 Bilsteins. I'll be one of the first to try them out on the Elise so I'll post some feeback once I've got them fitted. Out of interest, any idea what the going rate is for fitting these by a Specialist?

Any grease monkey can fit them - say about £120. It's the essential geo set-up afterwards which costs the money. You could always get them fitted cheaply locally and drive for a while before getting it booked in at a specialist for the geo.

Easy enough to DIY. Even I managed to fit some. Took an average of 2 hours a corner though whereas a garage should do the lot in about 2 hrs.
Hope you enjoy them. i fitted my Nitron NTRs the week before last and spent last Saturday at Bedford on them. The difference to my old Konis was amazing. Worth parts of a minute per lap to me!!

My car needs to go to a Specialist to get the cam belt changed in any case so I'll book the car into Horizon for that along with the Nitron fitting and geo. Not much change out of £450 for that lot I reckon given the cam belt is £215 fitted!
