Audi conversion

The Audi conversion appears to use the 1.8T 20v engine. I am pretty sure Audi/VW have done a DSG gearbox with this engine in the past. Has anyone shoehorned the DSG into an Elise?

Are you sure they've done DSG with the 1.8T and not just the 2.0 TFSI? I have no idea by the way.

No,

you would need to check with Bernard, but I think it's too big to fit. Ignoring that, the electronics to run it would be a nighmare and they are REALLY heavy

I seem to recall someone asking similar on SELOC and it being said that the DSG just wouldn't go, no matter how you tried it, in to an Elise.
