Having now sold my 111R and an original intention to possibly look at Exige S with performance pack I find myself inextricably drawn to this ....oooooh yeah come to Daddy .....

So what are the opinions of the panel please, wrt price etc? Also residually? I'm sure a much safer bet than doing £40K on an 08 model Exige S with PP.

Cheers

Cup will hold value better as it's a Lotus Sport car... same as why the 135R's hold their value better and are sought after

You will be mad not to buy this car, it's what I'd buy if I was in the market

Mine is currently under offer.... so time is running out if anyone is interested.... although now I've pulled it out of storage, serviced it and put fresh rubber on.... I'm having to be very strong not to just keep it!

I'll wait and see what happens, my inflexibility on price might make it fall through and then I'll just keep it ALL for myself!!!! evil

240R was the original 243hp car, has a non emission spec engine without the electronic throttle control of the Cup cars so has fast throttle response.

Otherwise the spec is almost identical, both are Lotus Sport cars, the 240R has the wider lightweight wheels and a leather trimmed interior.

240R was limited to 50 cars worldwide, 18 in the UK, 14 Sport Black and 4 Sport Yellow. There were two or three runs of 50 Cup 240 cars over about 18 months.

lol, that made me laugh, "fully track focused" then it says, "full screen sat nav" - is that in case you don't know your way around a certain track?

Not good at finding my way to tracks in Europe in the dark... find it makes things much easier... and it weighs less than 1.5kg... so don't believe that effects my power to weight too much, especially as I'm a skinny runt!

and there was me thinking every kilo counted, you'll have people coming round to lynch you before long for admitting that. Me, I couldn't care less, just made me smile smile

quite simple really... go for a really big poo before you leave to save the weight added by the sat-nav.... given the choice between getting lost in the dark whilst in agony & turtle-heading, or laying one out getting to your destination in time for beers and discussions involving mice... i know what i would prefer.

There was definately at least 2 240Cup runs, UK and US, I have No.44 UK. Would be interested in the Official runs

Does anybody know the spec of the Ohlins dampers on the CUP cars (36mm or 42mm) off the top of there head?
