Has anyone gone from standard to ultra light alloys?

I'm thinking of changing the wheels on my 111R from the standard ones to ultra lightweight forged jobbies of the same size. I believe they are about 2kg per corner lighter (and look great). Has anyone done this and if so can you really feel any difference or would it be a waste of money?

I had a chat with Wayne at Sinclaires, the ultra light ones felt pretty light (Dymag?) but they are approx £2.4K plus vat!!!!!

Most people (well me anyway!) couldn't tell the difference. If you're running standard suspension you're far more likely to notice the difference if you upgraded to Nitron/Ohlins.
