yes, and yes!

Quite a few people are doing it these days - doesn't look quite right IMO but it's do-able. Some people have put soft tops on cos they love it so much - just need to get the noggins fitted to clip the bars into.

I did it about twice but I loved my airscoop too much to leave home without it biggrin

No 'special' tools required just the correct size head on a decent screwdriver will do it. It will take you about 5 mins off and ten mins back on the first time you do it but after that it's only a couple of minutes either way.

Agree with Mini in that the look doesn't really do it for me although all the annoying cabin sounds dissapeared when I went 'topless' and the noise of the 2bular exhaust was just awesome.

It's hard to resist in the Summer, just get a showercap from hangar 111 and you're sorted.

Quite a few owners will sneer at the idea though.

Mine uses a TORX head, can't remember the size without getting toolkit out of garage?

Just a few minutes either way, on or off, only 9 bolts but you need another pairs of hands if you want to avoid scratching the B pillars.
