Looking at fitting one of these to my S1 Elise 118bhp, mostly as going through the history it has had some issues with the throttle body sticking in the past and these aren't supposed to be affected by the issue.

What I am wondering however is will this make any difference to the performance, and will it affect my insurance much. At present I have a sports exhaust, K&N 57i and uprated brakes which were fitted by previous owners and are declared on the insurance and don't want to push my premiums too much higher.

will make absolutely feck all difference to performance, but will sort out a sticky throttle response... they can make the power delivery a little more on-off twitchy, but are worth the upgrade when combined with other upgrades.

It should not make any diffrance to your insurance, as its not making any difrrance to you performance.smile
