pretty normal with track use to be honest...and the Elise is still a cheap car to run/track ...can you imagine how some of the guys feel with GT3s and other expensive tackle when it costs them a few grand on brakes and tyres each time...makes for an expensive hobbie !

Switch to R888's. As bogie says, the second you move to stickies, lots of bills start arriving. Still a lot cheaper than other quick cars on track though.

Wonder what the cost is on a Zonda or Stradale !

Still If you have either of the above, I don't think you would care, as long as you did not crash the thing!

Reminds me of the article last year in EVO when Harry Spins the Zonda at Spa, a clean pair of pants required I would of thought !

Yeah but the 888's have been getting closer and closer to 48's recently. I'd stick to 48's personally especially if just changing the rears.

I had brand new fronts fitted at the track to drive home with, Wouldn't mind trying the r888s tho, think Ill get some ao's for now and wait till the fronts are cream crackred, any one got info for the cheapest dealers?
by the time postage and fitting charge is applied elise parts comes in more expensive than the main stealers !

I suspect you'll find that tyre fitting charges tend to be fairly "flexible".

The deal you get depends on how friendly you get with the fitting monkeys (if any of them are reading this... there goes my deal)

No comparison between the (previously) stock Potenzas and the A048s really.
