Time has come to change the original, yes original, disks and pads on the 111s.
Car has only just covered 24K but the disks are looking a bit nasty and with the summer (fingers crossed) around the corner I want to make sure I can stop as quickly as possible whilst on some "enthusiastic" drives.

I'm not a track driver, the car is purely for road use and is also my everyday car in the summer. I've already got in mind the combination I think is best suited for me just wanted to know what the consensus was.

Am thinking of the following:

EliseParts Aluminium Belled, Drilled & Grooved disks
Aluminium Belled, Drilled & Grooved Disks

with a set of Mintex 1144s
Mintex 1144s

Should I go for Pagid RS14s or will the Mintex be good enough for my road use?

Any advice or comments are greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Heeed

The disk are great I am sure, maybe over the top for road but, if you want the best for your motor get them. I would use Pagid 42 instead of the 14, as the 42 are for the road and the odd track day. The 14 are for lots of track days

I use MMC discs as I have a 1997 car, best things I have ever come across -in the dry that is... and for the basic car

I think I've replied to your post on Seloc. EBC turbogrooves and Mintex 1144 are all you'll ever need for the road. Only worth spending the extra for regular track work.
