The boot of my s2 Elise 02 will not open

The boot of my s2 Elise 02 will not open - i took my car to the garage to have bush put on suspension (noisy). The garage tried to get in the boot, its never been a problem but they could not get in - i also tried - tried pushing and pulling the lid whilst turning key - does anyone know how i can get in without causing damage - saw earlier conversation regarding this but (monkey man) sent personal message and i can not email him to find out

Gav, the advice from Seloc is what you have tried already....

'Try pressing down hard on the boot as you turn the key, or trying to pull the boot up with the key turning. Sounds stupid but it worked ona mates 111r...'

If I get anything that I think will help I'll pop over.

It was me that had a similar problem a few months back.

If you don't feel any resistance when you turn the key clockwise to unlock the boot, then it probably means that the cable has come unhooked from the lock mechanism. If thats the case email me and I will send you details on how to break into the boot.
