Electric Supercharger? Anyone used / seen one?????

Saw one on ebay, they claim +20bhp, dnt believe it, but would not be surprised if you got some power gain, any one else tried it out.

What would be the point? Instead of just driving the s/c directly from the spinning engine you'd be generating electricity from the spinning engine using the alternator, then using that electricity to spin up a motor again to the same speed!! It seems like an uneccesary diversion to get back where you started, building up efficiency losses along the way!

Waste of time, never entertain anything that gives power gains like that for 100 quid
