As title says really,
do you have a clause that says the car is not insured when the roof is off?

Cheap insurance but a PITA when we need to ensure roof is on when unattended irked

Although for a different car a few years back when i owned a 306 cabriolet my insurance with Adrian Flux at that time stated that the car was fully insured in my name, but if i left the car in a car park, or left it unattended with the roof down then any damage / theft that could result would not be covered by the insurance. Sounds like thats pretty much the same for your car bud

I am with APlan. Not sure if it has the same clause as you but just don't leave anything valuable in the car when the roof is off and it is very unlikely to be a problem.

I'm with A plan and don't recall anything like that in the T's & C's.

Is that because yours is classified as a coupe?

I wouldn't worry if you're with APlan. Now, if you're with Groupama through APlan then that's a different story altogether...

I did phone when I insured the car and asked about the insurance with the roof off and they said either in elise or exige it doesn't matter; I was worried that because it was a "coupe" that if it had no roof it wouldn't be insured. They said not the case.

I found them alright after my mis-hap last year, no worse than any other insurance copies I have dealt with in the past.

I am with A-Plan and read everything to see if i was covered when the roof off and i could not find anything to say i wasn't.

The actual policy is with Norwich Union. Been pleased so far.
