lol, yeah, it's a bit warm out there today, opened the boot to put the roof back on and it was like leaning in to a furnace.

hope there is no lasting stain.

Just got back in from a good run out. It's humid today, very hot and sticky. The rain from earlier did not help things but the Cat & Fiddle was nice and empty so lots of fun was had.

Not put the soft top on mine yet, i much prefer the look of the car with the hard top on but it was bloody warm in it today especially as mine doesnt have air con. I think i will give it a couple more weeks and then soft top will be going on for a few months.

wasnt worried about the stain, i was more concerned with filling my fat belly.
The footy season ends next week so i will "do" the cat and fiddle run with you in the summer.

I've carried rather large quantities of ice-cream in my Elise with no problems. Line the boot with a heavy parka, fill with 4L containers of ice-cream and cover with another a couple of heavy fleeces. Ditto in the pax footwell. I've kept ice-cream in good nick for 1 1/2 hrs in the height of summer like that thumbup

I love your car - ever thought of getting a type 49?

My two favourite things, Ice cream and Elises.

This reminds me of the 1st weekend I had my Elise. I locked my insulin in the boot of the car so it didn't go flying around inside.

Except it was a nice hot August day and the car was certainly up to engine temperature.

One cooked pack of insulin later meant a spirited sprint home after lunch.
