I have to say take it off... however I agree they look better on as per below... a coupel of weeks ago i gave the roof it's last wax before taking it off & sticking it in the cellar until November

are you coming on the burger run? Just so long as you are not wearing wet rubber and gloves with no "fingers" and plenty of brine.

Don't tell everyone how I dress to meet you else they'll all want to see!

But if feels different without the roof off, that's the main point. Never understood the idea of posing with the roof off, unless you are really good looking;)
I'm sure I can detect a slight increase in stiffness with the hard top on, but it may just be my imagination. I can certainly notice the difference in weight without the hard top on, that's for sure.Open top motoring is lovely, but when it's howling with rain and wind etc in the depths of winter the hard top is so good that it makes up for those few days in winter where you'd have the roof off otherwise. Ergo, I usually keep the hard top on October through to about April time.
Well Hard top or No top is my preference. The Soft top on an S1 looks like a Silvercross Pram....

I so wish Geary or Yvo would invent an after market flatter profile roof with less bowed batons.
It's the only thing I envy on an S2. It's far more Targa than Silvercross

I always wait until it's properly warm to take the roof off; I don't see the point before then.
Which country are you in?Dont think its going to get alot hotter than it has been over the last couple of days. Anything 20+ is good for the UK.
That's why the hard top came off on Tuesday
I was on two back to back holidays before that, and last time I saw England it was pouring with rain, and snow before that!Gassing Station | Elise/Exige/Europa/340R | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

It drives the same with the hard top on, it's just a bit more secure, warmer and quieter. I always wait until it's properly warm to take the roof off; I don't see the point before then.
