what doe the sports exhaust from ebay - hong kong sound like?

elise s2 k series fitment guys.

Is it louder than a Larini?

Ive got a standard car 120bhp with just an induction kit - i dont want it to be stupidly loud really.

Thanks

Agreed, it's ridiculously loud. Bogie had one IIRC, and took it off in fairly short order.

It is probably quieter to have no 'zorst (or manifold)...

as above - stupidly loud!! ..you could hear my car literally miles away, it was so bad when I had it on, after the initial giggling driving down the road, I put ear plugs in, which made little difference. I just couldnt really drive the car comfortably. It was so bad I took it off in under 2 weeks (after experimenting, putting my cat back on) and sold it myself on ebaywink

they do another version with a proper sized silencer box, which is no doubt much better, but by the time you pay tax, import, shipping on them, they are near to UK price anyway so not much point unless you really want this particular brand for some reason.

I have had that very exhaust with decat for a couple of years now on my S2. I only really drive it at the weekends, it became addictive after going up and down the tunnels at Tooley treet in London a few times! When it blows I will replace with a Larini. Exhaust is fine its just broken a mount on a couple of occasions. Fixed and passed the MOT (with CAT). I just try not to really open it up until I am out of residential areas, well at least my road anyway

I have been reliably informed it can be heard from 3 miles away, thats further than the V8 Vantage Clarkson had on the Isle of Man at full chat (I think that was 2 miles). I had left a farm in Somerset, passed through a village and was joining the A303 back to London, they heard me accelrate from 1st through the gears and that was 3 miles as the crow flies!

I wouldnt recommend it though, too loud for everyday use.

Slight off camber here but I brought an exhaust from these guys for my CSL, it too was way loud so I sold it about four weeks later.
Quality was good but it's clear they haven't done any research into driveability, harshness etc..
When you factor in shipping and duty it would have been cheaper for me to buy here.
I wouldn't bother again.

fitted mine on sunday - not exactly the same as the pic, mine looks more like a larini with only 2 "baffle sections".

I love it! does not seem to be too loud - altough im in the carwink

Like i said i only have induction kit and standard cat - so maybe thats why its not as loud as you guys say.....
