How quick (S1 related)

Every time I put my roof back on the car I think about how long it takes.

A game I sometimes like to play is to see if i can get the roof back on before the immobiliser activates. Ive never managed to do it but does anyone here reckon they can?!?!

The immobilsier on my car arms in 45 secs. No chance of me doing the roof in that time! I's say 3 mins on average.

I think I could probably fit the roof in a minute ... I'll time myself next time, although it'll have to wait until next week, as my car is away for repair!

I can get the roof on and myself inside in less than a minute when I've been caught in a sudden downpour. I then fitted the cant rails and roof bars from inside

I'm still on a learning curve as regards to putting on an S1 top quickly, having being spoiled by my previous short-roof S2 which was a doddle by comparison.

Probably takes me 4-5 minutes. Will have to time it on the next occasion.
