annoying problem, help needed please guys!
Discussion
Hi chaps/esses, I fried my leads on saturday (or more specifically, my King lead) and I can't seem to get my hands on another set.. eliseparts have not been helpful either...
..but my main problem is that in order to change the King lead one has to detach it from the coil - and I can't find the damn thing in the engine bay!
i've had a good root around and have not been able to trace the lead from the dizzy past any further than somewhere in the recess underneath the exhaust manifold..
can anybody point me in the right direction please? I usually have all the work done on it at the dealer but since it can't move anywhere I am having to do it myself and i'm only used to working on mini's
I am now beginning to worry that the coil will not look how I expect it to look and that i'll never bloody find it!

thanks!
ETA: it's a '99 K-series if that makes any difference
extra thought: can one use the same leads as might go on any of the other k-series cars... the rover 75/freelander/MGF for example?
extra extra thought: the leads with their long plastic sheath/tube part look like they would need a special tool to fit them, is this the case?
finally, apologies for acting retarded
