What does it weigh...

Just a quick queston guys! I know that the kerb weight for an S2 111R is stated at 860kg, but I have no idea if that may include things like touring packs etc.

My question is - does anyone have any idea what my MY07 Elise 'S' weighs? It's as basic as it was possible to have (my only extra was solar yellow paint) so no touring packs, no aircon, no driving lights and an engine that may(?) weigh less than the fancy-cam 'R'...

Just done a bit of digging and found the the 1zz engine (in the 'S') has a dry weight of 95kg while the 2zz ('R') weighs 115kg dry - so in theory there's a 20kg saving right there...

An Elise-S with Bemani S/C was weighed at roughly 865kg (wet) by a car magazine overhere in April last year. I presume that was with the touring pack included. I'd hazard a guess and say your Elise-S should be around ~840kg (Bemani S/C including fluids should be around ~20+/-kg).

It seems the standard Elise-S was weighed at 865kg.

In another magazine (Sport Auto, 11/2006), it was also weighed at 865kg.

For reference:
Sport Auto in issue 05/2008 weighed the new Elise-SC at 913kg and the 2-eleven at 776kg.

Also don't forget the ~5-8kg per model year

865kg will be without the touring pack which adds 35Kg - most with touring pack and other options are 900kg
