Radio reception

One thing i remember form the car im looking at was that the radio didnt work - cd was fine though. Any ideas? Also any suggestions for head unit and speaker upgrades?

I'm going to bite the bullet and try and install a DAB system this weekend.

I've tried all sorts of stuff on my stereo but FM is crap and MW unbearable!

Make sure the aerial has been suppressed- a load of silver paper under the boot/bonnet and earthed!

If you can, mount the DAB aerial up front if its small and can be subtley mounted. The rear aerial is fecked because its over the spark plugs.
