Red rear indicator lenses for Elise S1

[theboycalleddan]

I’ve seen on the internet a couple of S1 Elise’s with Red rear indicator lenses. They look identical to the original type but in Red (definitely not a aftermarket LED type). I’m not sure if they have replaced them with the rear brake lights lenses to give this effect but I would presume they would flash red if this were the case. They might have even been sprayed. However they do look pretty good.

Does anyone know anything about red rear indicators for the S1 and whether they flash amber or red? What type of bulb do they have?

Are they legal in the UK?
Cheers
