She's back

After about a month away getting fixed up I picked up my S2 last night and she was looking hot (dont worry I'm not one of those wierdos on telly last night with the car fetish thing....). The cars been re sprayed, all the damage caused by that curb and the unknown idiot that drove into the back a few weeks ago at the dove car park has been fixed. The vent below the windscreen that had broken has been replaced. The wierd problem where it wont restart till it's compleatly cool has been fixed. Theres even a nice shiney new badge on the front and a sticker saying Elise on the back that it didnt have before.

I was planning to sell the car as soon as I got it back but it occured to me this morning as i down changed to 2nd and floored it, that all the things that had been winding me up with this car have now been fixed and it's going to be very tough to get rid of.

Anyway the point of my post was to say that after my recent experience I'd highly recomend the Merritts garage at Amersham. They have been friendly throughout the fixing process despite my insurance company taking overly long to approve the body repairs. Unlike some other garages I've taken my Elise to they have fixed everything I wanted them to and the car has not come back with a problem that it didnt have before entering the garage. Above all else, all the work on the car seems to have been carried out to a very high standard and it now looks like new, sounds healthy and feels great.
