We actually thought of getting a Boxster until I convinced the lady of the house that an Elise was more fun. What's this nightmare you are referring to?

TBH nightmare is a bit strong, after 4+ years in a series 1 elise it felt huge and heavy and i just didnt "click" with it.Running costs were double that of an elise (ave18mpg, 3.2S)and dont even ask about servicing costs!. if you are after comfort and practical they are a fantastic car, just not for me though, also try selling one at the mo!!!! must admit i did miss the grunt of that 3.2motor yesterday, can someone please fit one in my liz :-)
