Picked my Liz up noon Thursday, now monday morning and have spent over £140 on petrol,
and she's empty.

I'm gonna have to invest in an oil field at this rate!

lol, well that's what you get if you blat about and clock plenty of miles. At 33-35mpg I thought I was set, little did I know that I'd put more petrol in it than any other car I've owned/driven - But that's what comes from driving the long way home all the time.

I run a 2.5 litre BMW 5 series alongside mine - helps keep things in perspective. The elise is an incredible machine - not least on fuel consumption

lol ...thats it, if you run a German saloon etc as your daily driver, everything in the Elise is cheaper by comparison smile

My S1 135 was surprisingly frugal....... 25 - 30 to the gallon when blatting, and 35-40mpg on the motorway.

Compare it to other cars. My 174bhp Sport 135 is considerably better on the juice than Ms S Works 350Z roadster. But that V6 is worth every pound of juice that flows through it hehe

ha! That's nothing, I've just spent £36 going from home to home this morning, I'm convincedit gets more expensive in direct ratio to sunshine quantities.

In the last 7 days, I have filled up 3 times, just shy of £100.

Talking of spending plenty on filling up, anyone find they get more miles from V-Power/Super? If so, how many roughly? Had to go careful in my last car, depending on whose super it was, it did less miles per tank (about 40 less).
