Hi all, i've been looking at the Exige stuff on sector 111, however all the tasty bits are listed for '06 onwards cars, is the '06 a facelift model?

if so, are the differences so significant that parts are not interchangable?

cheers

The only real differences are '06 has LED lights (which can be retro-fitted to any Exige) and a fly-by-wire throttle. It also has an airbag and a new dash design which is not to everyones taste.

Airbag and dash were super touring only AFAIK until '08. Probax seats become standard I think in '06 as well (did on the 111R anyway, think with the Exige it depends on the combo of packs)

I thought the pedal box was re-designed for the 2006 car to incorporate the fly-by-wire throttle but also to address the braking feel/efficiency of the pedal. With the earlier cars, there was a complaint about the excessive travel at the start of the pedal and the new design sorted this out. Are the headlights slightly different? I think my 07 car has side lights/dip/main beams different to a friend's 05 car.

Yes, I think the brake pedal feel was also substantially improved for the 06 model - well it was on the Elise 111R anyway so I would guess the Exige got the mod too.
