Oooh small world.
I picked up my 111S just 12 days ago, I'm sure you'll see me tootling around because it's my daily drive whatever the weather (usually torrential rain here!). Do you still have the Viper?

No sold the Viper a month or two ago.

Yeah I'm a Roytonian, I can't believe I've managed to miss your Viper all this time in a town of our size.

Just read your post in another thread that you've got your car screem, congrats!
Don't forget to post up some pics.
It probably was me you saw last week, I seem to remember cutting through the centre on my way to a leisurely drive.
I'll give you a honk whenever I pass the shop, hopefully I'll have better luck at spotting your Exige than I did with an 8 litre Viper!
Oi Chadders!.....nothing wrong with our little slice of paradise!

Well done on the purchase and as you have the same Pennine hills on your doorstep as myself, I expect to see you up there sometime...
I too was wondering if there were any meets in the same area (Oldham/Huddersfield), as the North Yorkshire group is a bit of trek for me on a school night and as I commute through Oldham, this would be ideal.

Pennine hills....mmmmmm........lots of bendy clear roads......very little traffic........mmmmmmmm
sounds great!

Just gotta wait for the wind and rain to calm down

not tested it yet but i can imagine those tyres dont like damp roads?
The roads up there can be lots of fun and I can be usually found up there at some point most weekends, trying to keep up with all the bikers ! This morning the weather stayed dry long enough for a good lap.
You're right about it being a bit hairy in wet though, and I imagine with A048 tyres on it's even worse. Definitely for the fearless only, some of those drops look scary

Glad you saw me screem, had just been driving back from Cheshire in the bloody awful weather and thought I'd see if I could spot you. I actually made 2 passes because I wasn't sure if anyone was in......had a serious brown trouser moment though turning left at the pub just past your shop on the first 'lap' of Royton because a 206 missed my front bumper by inches after skidding through at the lights coming in the opposite direction.

Still I survived and managed to give you a quick beep the second time around. I can't imagine you've had too much time to have fun in this weather. Yesterday was the first time I've actually locked the Elise away in the garage and took the Subaru to work, it felt like a HGV in comparison to the Elise.
