the fan works at all speeds, the air con blows ice cold when on, but it wont blow any warm or hot air, thermostat is ok as it gets up to 87deg in normal time, any ideas? it's a 2003 st (not a 111s!!!!!)

could be a failing resistor pack which by a great piece of design sits in a place where water does not drain. Just had mine replaced yesterday - a front clam off job (mine is a '04 111R). Luckily still under warranty. Try a search under "resistor pack" - this is a common problem.

Checked the coolant level ? If you have a leak the heater matrix can get air locked as its often the highest point .

its the little motor that operates the flap, its not allowing the flap to move more than a few cm each way. bet its a cheap part but clam of job to replace, how hard is it to remove the clam?

Realistically a few hours off, few hours on I reckon. I'm putting the job off as long as possible!
