Hi guys,
I am looking for a set of bushes & screws or whatever for my S2. I need them for the Irish roads. You guys complain about the UK roads, try the Irish ones! tongue out

I remember seeing a Titanium set once, I cannot seem to find them but if you know a good set to buy as I would like to replace them all with much stronger ones.

Thanks in advance

Sorry mate, no idea what you're talking about.
Suspension bushes? but they wouldn't be made of titanium.

Great!...

I was looking at poweflex polyurethane bushes or replacing the entire cars current ones with a set such as http://www.priracing.com/product.php/1664/0/elise-...

I was wondering if you guys could suggest a good set to buy...

EDIT - bear in mind I would prefer some sort of upgraded set... Stronger than the originals

Wishbone bushes, unless your tracking/racing the car, stick to the OEM bushes.

Powerflex (IMHO) are hopless, not stiff enough to make any real difference and have a whole host of issues from squeaking to premature wear.

for a track car, Nylatron's are the next step followed by sphericals

How many miles has your car done bananamana?

Scuffers are your comments re the Powerflex bushes about poly bushes in general or just thos particular ones. (I've bought some poly bushes on the basis of intended track use and their being easier to fit than nylatron).

36K miles - I am ever cautious on our roads, perhaps a little too cautious. I would like to know that my bushes are as strong as possible because one of the most common problems here is bushes going.

Im really after peace of mind more than anything else... (And also to have a nice spare set if anything goes wrong) Otherwise its mail order

nope, all of them, total waste of time, most are even softer than OEM too.

Bushes don't 'go' as you put it, they just become worn and more compliant.

I would stick to new OEM ones, they are good for at least 2-3 years hard use on the road.

Ok - good advice. I will be pre-emptive and buy new ones for the front then wait for any others to go/wear/tear/break/smash/fry/bend/frizzle/break etc ... biggrin ... Im bored atm ...

Thanks
