I recently purchased an s2 exige and am loving it sooo much but the roof is squeaking loads,i am guessing it the rubber seals rubbing against each other,so I thought I would remove the roof, spray some silicone and hopefully solve the very annoying squeaking. However im sure i have read somewhere thst a strong adhevise/bonding substance is used on the S2 Exige roof.

Any ideas/comments would be much appreciated.

dont believe so, think its removable like the elise..

also, i used both silicone and vaseline at different times, vaseline was far better, but peeps are concerned that it eats into the rubber..

It comes off easily, remove the front cover thing (three screws) then take the two velcrow side bits off and just un screw the remaining 4 screws then just lift off.

If Vaseline eats the rubber isn't K-Y Jelly normally the solution....?
