IMO, the best advice here, is to trundle over to Chiswick and try a few on.... just because a certain size helmet from a manuafacturer "fits" the size of your head as measured, doesn't mean you are going to find it comfortable, which, if you're going to be racing is going to be pretty important (how are you going to fight the guys around you, when you're too busy strugglling with yout lid?).
Try a few on, wander around in them for 5 or ten minutes and see which ones feel the most comfortable, presumably these will be the most ££££

I've never bought a lid that's been cheap.
There's no price on your head, as someone once said.
I've always faired well with Arai helmets personally, but there are many other excellent manufacturers out there.
Get into a shop and they will help you out!

Same here, I've owned load's in my time from my bike days Arai, Shoei, Bell etc but I've always used Sparco for my car but mine's an open face and it's a little old now need to get a proper full face

for the amount of use I get - motorbike shop and "less expensive" was adequate. I also has the advantage that it looks like something from starship troopers. Also several other advantages - Going to a bike shop means they have loads of range and stock so you can adhere to the most important factor - fit.

You're welcome to try my one on mate, if you don't want to drive to Chiswick. But I would recommend doing so - GPR have the best selection anywhere.
What size is yours time (& no silly comment's please) I think I'm small?Boggy
