Have a 04 S2 and have had both rear discs replaced, but the new discs are not drilled right through as the origionals and have slots in them.

Are these ok?

Thanks

Sounds like your discs have been replaced with EBC discs, they are ok but also pretty economic, personally speaking I'd have prefered to replace with the originals but that's my preference. If you have been charged for Lotus original parts I'd go back to them and ask for a refund as there is quite a difference in price.I think my Lotus drilled discs cost about £150 each EBC discs go for about £95 each.Prices might have changed from 8 months ago but at least this will give you a comparison, that is if they are EBC discs.

If you ask on SELOC you will get a lot of information. Alli Belled discs tend to be weapon of choice but they are expensive. I am going to do mine soon and will be using EBC discs for sure, they are quality discs at a decent price, See www.eliseparts.com for what they say.

There's no problem at all having these fitted.

The only problem here is that you should have changed them yourself. Dead easy job and would have saved a fair bit.
