I am off this weekend and just seeing if anyone had any less popular choices than the norm?

i.e. No caravans ! http://webcam.popso.it/stelvio.php?PASSOALTO2 [Nice Exige parked up when I looked last]

I know the area well enough but if anyone has any interesting routes around the swiss alps/Germany etc

You can spend a week in just the alps alone (I have biggrin)

Grossglockner
Grimsel pass
Furka pass

- do those and, honestly, you'll just want to do them again. Then again. (I'm going in 2 weeks with the Exige biggrin).

I'm sure there's a post in the Roads forum that asks the same question, I'll try and find it.

Really? Ah in which case there are a host of roads around the Alsace region - all tour de france stuff. The Grand Balon, and it's surrounding regions, are brilliant.

Make sure you go to the Schlumpf museum in Mulhouse (20mins from Grand Balon) - massive Bugatti collection, including 2 original Royales!

Yes some great roads, I am sure the GF will love to see the Bugatti's smile.

I am hoping that there will be some shopping near by so I can go for a quick blast around the roads!
