Hi all, new to this lotus thing

I'd like to start of by praising this forum for its quality content, i'm finally in the market for a s2 elise and have enjoyed reading the pros/cons of ownership etc from your wealth of experience.

I'm from Solihull, West Midlands and over here there is a shortage of elises from what i have seen, just civic type r's, chelsea tractors and the like.

Hope to be an active member on the forum and would like to know if there are any PH's close by?

hi ive seen and driven so far a S1 '99 (mates car) an s2 135 upgrade'02 and 135r'04 , im off to look at a 111s'03 on sunday.

After reading so much info on the s2 elises (till my eyes were bleeding) My first choice on paper would be the s2 111s model, until i see one then im not 100%, the thing that i find makes it difficult to compare cars is the mileages differ so very much from car to car and along with good servicing these are the things i feel important to look for.

The only colours im looking at are the grey, black, blue and would like black wheels ideally
My budget is around £13k for the right car and don't mind travelling to get the right motor
