Can someone who can spot the difference tell me if this is a 111S?

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/736539.htm

Advertised as such but doesn't look like the VVC engine and no badges/wrong wheels?

Thanks,

Richard

No it's not, unless he's gone out of his way to make it look like a 120bhp car for some reason.

The rear diffuser is the biggest give-away.

Thanks - I hadn't spotted the Diffuser.

Another to rule out then...

am I being thick, but what is the obvious difference in the diffuser? I don't have any photos of the back of my 111S in my advert but I cant recall anything obviously different?!

ah ok, ta.

Good looking car that mind. Just imagining it with non-rusty brake discs and a set of OZ wheels, hubba hubba.

Black looks awesome when its clean, just gets dirty so quickly. Not so bad if its a weekend toy - I did it the wrong way around and bought a black everydayer and a grey weekend toy! I said that if my elise didnt sell I would use it everyday, I reckon it would be fair easier to keep clean than the current daily steed.

Mine is an everyday car .. and the wheels are the 111R ones in satin black now smile don't fancy AO48s or Toyo etc so am sticking with standard wheels and AD07s

Loving the colour of yours Miro, esp with the black wheels biggrin

As an everyday car, I'd imagine its not too hard to keep it looking good either.

I show it a sponge (wash mitt) avery month or so. but the Orange doesnt show dirt too bad and the black wheels hide the dust from the Mintex pads. love it to bits realy smileWouldnt change the colour for anything realy .. biggrin

Looks super-sexy.......but not like a 111s, looks like a standard K-series engine, standard rear diffuser, wheels, no decals etc, nothing makes it look like a 111s except the title.

'Tis not a 111S - 120bhp model - exhaust tips give it away as well as the diffuser and the engine picture.

Yup, non-VVC engine. Plastic vs Ally plenum an obvious give away if you can't spot the (lack of) VVC mechanism.

Don't 111S's have electric windows as standard? Mine does, and all the other nice leathery/suedey bits that make it look just that little bit more luxurious inside than a non-111S. The cheek of it!

NOW, if you want a REAL 111S in black that's been well looked after than send me a message cos I'm selling mine! Cheers.
