I'm looking at an S2 Elise 2004 S and its all fine but its Lightning Green and I'm not sure that I can live with the colour. Does anyone else own one? Does it grow on you?

i think they look great but you love 'em or hate 'em. dont convince yourself if youre not sure, and it can be an issue on resale...there are plenty of Elises around, you'll know when you've seen the one

It will be a bugger to sell on (imho.) If youre looking at in in a dealers they have had it for a while. does it also have 4 tail pipes???

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/735308.htm 111s (better than the Rover based S I dont think an 04 would be a yota) similar money

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/714574.htm 135 is a nice car too and will be easier to sell when you want to change ... plus WillB posts on SELOC and is regarded as a good chap to buy from.

Mmm, that 111S looks nice. Looks quite tidy and the ice leather looks better than it sounds.

just spotted this though

"This car will return 38mpg however its driven and, with 163g/km, costs £140/yr to tax. "

38mpg perhaps . but i bet you can get that alot lower if you try hard enough wink
