Hi guys,
I've had a look on here and some threads say you need a 5" speaker, others 5.5" and others 6". Can someone clarify the size that is best to use and possibly recommend some speakers that would fit as I'm led to believe the S1 speaker trenches are quite shallow and don't allow for a deep speaker.

They'll all fit with the help of spacers: I've got 17cm jobbies which I've fitted with the aid of some butchered off the shelf spacers from Halfords.
I think from memory there's 2 and 1/2 inches of depth there but the spacers I used helped to overcome the lack of depth.
I think Infinity do a few shallow speakers and Blaupunkt as well.
To fill out the bass I've used a small self powered sub in the pax footwell. I've also got a pair of small (4") drivers on the dash top.
