Anyone know what sort of prices are being quoted for servicing nowadays.
Mine is due in the next week or so and so far the 2 quotes I have had are about 30% more than last years, £265 and £280, both including VAT, last year I only paid £200. Sportomotive and Westovers are the prices so far, so any other suggestions in the area would be appreciated.

Paid £230 at Esprit Engineering a month or so back for a B service for a base S1, nice company and did a good job.

Christ. A general checkover plus oil change for £200+? That's a joke. Tried Fibreglass Services in Arundel for a price? I'd be amazed if it was over £100.

Is it the same service as last year or have you moved to a B or C ?
My B service at Sportomotive with a bit of extra labour (to replace an S1 gear linkage) was actually cheaper than they originally quoted and of course you can just drop off in Christchurch with Cos and use the courtesy car.
Up to you of course... but I think Sportomotive are reasonable....

Only issue with FS, is they are not open Saturdays and the distance therefore requires a days holiday. Last service I had at FS was the 2 year service, so 2yrs ago and an A service and that was £125. They were as usual very good and if they were closer, or did Saturdays, they would be my first choice.
